~ for a promise from the Everlasting God, the Creator, He who is Everlastingly Strong for His redeemed.

may have an abundance for every good work.”

~ for a favorite knife with a Paul Revere handle. Love it.
~ for a cupboard where three wire whisks reside in a happy, ordered row.
~ for a pen that works and a piece of paper.
~ for an afternoon working alongside my sister yesterday.
~ for lessons I have learned in the chrysalis of my own home.
~ for my little space heater in the bathroom.
~ for a body that rises early in the morning. Love it!
~ for heavy whipping cream. Yum!
~ for sand dollars and clucking chickens and daughters.
~ for loads of blankets, a pile of good books and pillows.
~ for my artist husband.
~ for Spring drawing near.
~ for a new day.
~ for a history with God. He knows me.

This morning as I prepared my husband’s breakfast and lunch, I pulled a favorite knife from the kitchen drawer, and it got me thinking. Thinking about the many specific mercies and lovingkindnesses in my life. And since all things are from God…my morning meditation and recitation began. Let the little enjoyments of life provoke the exercise of a thankful heart.
