“All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.”
Isaiah 53:6

Two inseparable truths: the sinfulness of mankind and God’s merciful response to our iniquity. How close do these two truths stand? They stand smack dab, right up next to each other; our great need and God’s great remedy for us are contiguous…side by side. God’s great love for His straying ones has removed all gap from between need and remedy. Read it again…and rejoice! Jesus came into this world to save what was lost.
