“Hear my prayer, O LORD,
Give ear to my supplications!”
Psalm 143:1

“Prayer is not an exercise in a vacuum. Prayer is engagement with Another…a real Being of cognition, activity and power. Prayer is not a personal exercise of spirituality. It is a social interaction: ‘coming to’ ‘speaking with’ ‘gaining an audience before’ a Person. Prayer is seeking to get that Someone’s ear: to obtain a private interview, to acquire an answer to our query, to be fully heard, to effect a remedy. This “Someone” that we come to is All Powerful, All Wise and He loves us deeply. Pray! Make your voice heard! Sue the compassionate heart of the Creator God for a powerful and wise and merciful intervention.”

“My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD;
In the morning I will direct it to You,
And I will look up.”

Do not be silent to me,
Lest, if You are silent to me,
I become like those who go down to the pit.”
Psalm 28: 1

O LORD my God, I cried out to You,
And You healed me.
Psalm 30:2

My spirit fails!
