“I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.”
~ Psalm 27:13

Untangling the knots among the delicate threads. NOT HOPELESS…but very. delicate. work. Delicate…takes long patience, NO anger, NO frustration…long, long patient work and attention. It’s a good work. Be glad in it…don’t rush it, work it.

THE SPIRIT OF HOPE is expressed in an undying effort of gentle, tedious work with a remarkable absence of pride, impatience and frustration. It is having a high regard for the complexity and fragility and finely-tuned and tunable souls before me. God’s workshop is humble, but good.

“Father in Heaven, how I thank You for Your good and patient work in our lives: untangling the tangles and knots and drawing near to us in the jumbled messes of our lives. Thank You that, time and time again, when I have cried out to You from some pit of miry clay…You have heard. And You have answered.
“Father, thank You that we can stand alongside of Your working in the tangled lives of others around us. Thank You that You are not discouraged with seemingly hopeless tangles. You are the Savior; that’s who You are; that’s what You do. You are the God of Hope. We would work and wait in cooperation with You…not hopeless.”
