I love surprises. I love preparing surprises for the ones I love. I love the planning, the plotting, the secrecy before the big reveal. I love to tailor the blessing to result in genuine joy that breaks out in the heart and over the face. And God? He knows the things that will truly delight us in our heart of hearts. Desires fulfilled. Dreams come true. God knows and is preparing a grand surprise…for us who love Him. Wow!

And you assure us, “Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.” How wonderful is that? Even in this world of trouble You answer long-held and long-desired prayers. You get glory by bringing to pass blessings in our lives that we could never engineer. You give us laughter. And joy. And gladness. And in the midst of it all, we find that our desires and Your blessings have dove-tailed in the perfect will and plan of God! Thank You, Father. Truly You do exceeding abundantly above all we can ask or think.”
