It is good to give thanks to the LORD…It is good to recount the blessings of our common days which fly past so quickly. It is good to dwell upon the lovingkindness of the LORD in both big and little things. It is good to look forward into our day expecting to see God’s mercies in our lives…and recognizing those mercies…and returning thanks for those mercies. We are blessed, but we do not live for the blessings. We live to God: to honor Him, praise Him, exalt Him, obey Him.
