I am three months into my blogging experiment – including almost one month without one entry. I began my blog as an online filing cabinet. Here I can capture and record the passing days of my life…in one place; I can corral and keep-at-hand my ideas, interests and other miscellany – ready for future projects; and I can explore and experiment with different forms and formats in blogging.

I do write for my family; my entries are meant to entertain them and cause them to smile, and…maybe to help them to view with wonder and new appreciation the oh-so-common daily experiences of our lives.

There’s so much I desire to note – especially from the lives of my growing girls. The writing out of our daily experiences is something I’ve wanted to do for some time…but I never could “find” the time. The blog keeps me more accountable and encourages me to be an active observer of my days.  If forces me to find the time to write – and then do it! And, of course, I love it!
